Greetings! Welcome to “Protecting the Apostolic Faith,” the Website created by an independent, volunteer group of CONCERNED MEMBERS of the CHURCH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST OF THE APOSTOLIC FAITH, headquartered on Apostolic Square at 701 South 22nd Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
This is not an official website of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith. The views expressed and comments made on this website are solely those of the authors, and do not represent the official views of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ of the Apostolic Faith or of Bishop Omega Shelton."
This Website has been established to:
defend the honor of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ and its selfless, esteemed leader, His Eminence Bishop Omega Shelton, Pastor and General Overseer since 1992, set the record straight—truthfully—about who we are and what we stand for;
give the members of the General Assembly of the Church a public forum in which to voice their thoughts, feelings, and concerns about recent occurrences in the courts, in the media, and in the community; and
provide a place where information can be exchanged among volunteer members of the Churches in our 55-plus locations across the country—from Buffalo, NY, to Miami, FL, and as far west as Lynwood, CA, and north to Seattle, WA.

FACT: Anthoneé Patterson erroneously filed lawsuits in various jurisdictions around the country seeking rights to church properties and funds. He incorrectly seeks to use the 2006 arbitrator’s ruling to file those lawsuits.
FACT: He improperly attempted to circumvent the Pennsylvania courts by initiating actions in several Virginia counties, North Carolina, Kentucky, and Florida.
FACT: When the attorneys for the General Assembly answered these suits, Patterson claimed that we had no standing to stop him from enforcing the arbitrator’s decision.
FACT: Patterson's efforts were stopped! In our latest victory, September 20, 2007, after less than 20 minutes of arguments, the Circuit Court in Duval County, FL, DENIED Patterson’s motion for summary judgment. Therefore, Patterson will not now be able to take any steps to assume ownership of any of our Duval county properties.
Members of the General Assembly from all over Florida converged on the Courthouse in force! We believe the Judge was impressed by the turnout, and Patterson… well, who cares. He lost in Jacksonville, his own backyard.
